West Ham conceded a late goal from Marko Arnautovic.
West Ham took on Stoke City at Upton Park yesterday afternoon and in the end came away with a 1-1 draw from what was a tight affair.
The Hammers took an early lead after an excellent strike from Aaron Cresswell, one of the star performers on the day, but in the end they were left to rue the full-time result.
Marko Arnautovic bagged the equaliser in the 94th minute and West Ham were clearly frustrated to have blown a potential three points against The Potters.
One of their players has now suggested that is exactly how he feels. Goalkeeper Adrian, who could do very little about the Austrian's equaliser, has taken to Twitter to bemoan what he called two points dropped at Upton Park.
Here is the Tweet in question from West Ham's Spanish goalkeeper:
After having 3 points in our hands during all the game...general feeling today was Stoke got 1 point and We lost 2! #COYI— Adrián San Miguel (@AdriSanMiguel) April 11, 2015
The Hammers are now sitting in ninth place in the Premier League table, level on points with Stoke in tenth, and that is perhaps par regarding pre-season expectations.
But after the promising start they made to the campaign West Ham fans, and players, are surely frustrated not to have finished higher up the table.
