Tottenham Hotspur-owned youngster Shaq Coulthirst has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in his on-loan club York City’s win on Saturday.
York returned to winning ways in League Two with a 1-0 victory over relegation-threatened Hartlepool United at Bootham Crescent.
Despite defender Dave Winfield being shown the red card in the first half, Russ Wilcox’s side picked up the three points thanks to Luke Summerfield's 30-yard deflected effort in the 67th minute.
The 20-year-old Coulthirst started the match and played for 82 minutes, and he was delighted to have helped York to the win, picking up the ‘Man of the Match’ award in the process.
York are now unbeaten in five games and are currently 19th in the League Two table with 48 points from 42 matches, nine points above the relegation zone.
The Minstermen are back in action on Tuesday when they take on third-placed Morecambe at home.
