Tony Fernandes reacts on Twitter to Queens Park Rangers’ defeat to Chelsea

Queens Park Rangers went down 1-0 to Chelsea at Loftus Road in the Premier League earlier today.

Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his disappointment at his side’s defeat to Chelsea at home today.

Rangers failed to return to winning ways in the Premier League as they went down 1-0 to league leaders Chelsea at Loftus Road.

Chelsea were expected to win the match with ease, but the Blues needed an 88th-minute goal from Cesc Fabregas to secure the three points.

QPR chairman Fernandes was disappointed not to have taken something from the game and made the following post on Twitter after full time:

Over the course of 90 minutes, Rangers had 40% of the possession, took 15 shots of which four were on target, and earned five corners.

Visting Chelsea had 60% of the possession, took nine shots of which one was on target, and earned six corners.

Chris Ramsey’s side are now third from bottom in the Premier League table with 26 points from 33 matches, two points behind 17th-placed Hull City.
