QPR chairman Fernandes was disappointed not to have taken something from the game and made the following post on Twitter after full time:
I am still in shock. We were the better side. But chin up 5 games to go. That result hardest to take. Fight all the way.— Tony Fernandes (@tonyfernandes) April 12, 2015
Over the course of 90 minutes, Rangers had 40% of the possession, took 15 shots of which four were on target, and earned five corners.
Visting Chelsea had 60% of the possession, took nine shots of which one was on target, and earned six corners.
Chris Ramsey’s side are now third from bottom in the Premier League table with 26 points from 33 matches, two points behind 17th-placed Hull City.
