Sunderland fans react on Twitter to Crystal Palace defeat

Sunderland went down 4-1 to Crystal Palace at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League on Saturday.

Sunderland remain in danger of suffering relegation from the Premier League at the end of the season.

The Black Cats failed to build on last weekend’s 1-0 home win against Newcastle United when they took on Crystal Palace at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Confidence was high in the Sunderland camp, but the home fans were hugely disappointed to see the players suffer a 4-1 hammering.

Dick Advocaat’s side were never truly in the game, and now it is back to the drawing board for the Dutchman and his players.

Sunderland are currently 16th in the Premier League table with 29 points from 32 matches, just three points above the bottom three.

The Black Cats will return to league action next weekend when they take on Stoke City away from home at the Britannia Stadium.

Following the heavy defeat to Palace on Saturday, Sunderland fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of the team.
