Nottingham Forest will be looking to return to winning ways in the Championship this afternoon when they take on Huddersfield Town at home.

The Reds will head into the encounter on the back of a 2-2 draw with Brentford away from home at Griffin Park and have squandered their last remaining chance of making the playoffs.

Dougie Freedman’s side currently find themselves ninth in the Championship table with 58 points from 41 matches, as many as 13 points behind Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are sixth at the moment and occupy the final playoff spot.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield are 17th in the league standings at the moment with 48 points from 41 games, 12 points above the relegation zone.

Chris Powell’s side will head into today’s match on the back of a surprise 2-1 victory over promotion-chasing Ipswich Town at John Smith's Stadium.
