Chelsea-owned Patrick Bamford reacts on Twitter to Middlesbrough’s win against Rotherham United

Chelsea-owned Patrick Bamford was on target for Middlesbrough against Rotherham United in the Championship today.

Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s victory over Rotherham United at home today.

Aitor Karanka’s side returned to winning ways in the Championship at the Riverside Stadium this afternoon with a 2-0 win against the Millers.

After a goalless first half, Lee Tomlin put Boro in the lead when he scored a fantastic goal five minutes after the restart.

Then midway through the second half, Chelsea-owned youngster Bamford doubled Middlesbrough’s advantage.

After the match, Bamford posted the following message on Twitter:

The win against Rotherham means that Middlesbrough remain in contention of automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Karanka’s side are now fourth in the Championship table with 78 points from 42 matches, just two points behind leaders Bournemouth.

Middlesbrough are back in league action on Tuesday, when they host playoff hopefuls Wolverhampton Wanderers at home.
