Match preview and predicted line-ups: Rangers v Raith Rovers

Rangers have the opportunity to bounce back from their midweek defeat when Raith visit Ibrox.

To be played on Sunday 12th April 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Ibrox, Glasgow.

Odds: Rangers 1/3, draw 7/2, Raith 7/1

Rangers have the chance to bounce back from their midweek defeat to Queen of the South when they face Raith Rovers at Ibrox on Sunday in the Scottish Championship.

A victory is vital for Stuart McCall’s men as they look to rebuild the momentum from their three straight wins going towards the play-offs.

The Gers’ bid for second place suffered a blow with the 3-0 defeat to Queens leaving them level on points with Hibernian going into the game against Raith, who have performed well against the higher-placed teams of late.

Grant Murray’s side beat Queen of the South and Hibernian before losing their last two games against Falkirk and Cowdenbeath, with a loss on Sunday equalling their longest losing streak of the season.

Raith haven’t won a league game at Ibrox in 56 years, but did win their Scottish Cup tie 2-1 in February. They have lost all three league encounters this season, with Rangers recording convincing victories, scoring 12 goals in the process.

Rangers captain Lee McCulloch misses a second game through suspension after being sent off in the win against Hearts, but Tom Walsh could be involved in the squad after making it through a friendly unscathed during the week.

Cammy Bell has trained and remains a possibility, but Jon Daly is likely to be out for another ten days with his recovery from injury.

Predicted Rangers line-up

Robinson, Wallace, McGregor, Zaliukus, Mohsni, Law, Vuckic, Murdoch, Shiels, Clark, Miller

Predicted Raith Rovers line-up

Thompson, O’Brien, Armstrong, Brownlie, Toshney, Wedderburn, Robertson, Marshall, Nish, Higgins, Oyenuga
