A victory is vital for Stuart McCall’s men as they look to rebuild the momentum from their three straight wins going towards the play-offs.
The Gers’ bid for second place suffered a blow with the 3-0 defeat to Queens leaving them level on points with Hibernian going into the game against Raith, who have performed well against the higher-placed teams of late.
Grant Murray’s side beat Queen of the South and Hibernian before losing their last two games against Falkirk and Cowdenbeath, with a loss on Sunday equalling their longest losing streak of the season.
Raith haven’t won a league game at Ibrox in 56 years, but did win their Scottish Cup tie 2-1 in February. They have lost all three league encounters this season, with Rangers recording convincing victories, scoring 12 goals in the process.
Rangers captain Lee McCulloch misses a second game through suspension after being sent off in the win against Hearts, but Tom Walsh could be involved in the squad after making it through a friendly unscathed during the week.
Cammy Bell has trained and remains a possibility, but Jon Daly is likely to be out for another ten days with his recovery from injury.
