Newcastle loanee Haris Vuckic couldn't stop Rangers suffering a bad defeat to Queen of the South.
Rangers suffered a 3-0 defeat to Queen of the South to end their unbeaten run under Stuart McCall.
Loan signing Haris Vuckic, so impressive at the weekend, could not help inspire his side to a win, with his performance splitting the opinion of fans in the process.
The Slovenian has been the only one of the five Newcastle loanees to make an impact, and he this week told the BBC he was open to staying at the club, happy to be playing first team football.
On one hand last night he was one of the only Rangers players to come away with any credit, but his bright start to the game faded, and by the end supporters were reflecting how he certainly is not the saviour their club is desperately crying out for.
Here's a look at some positive comments from supporters on Twitter regarding his performance...
Vuckic was the only man with pass marks tonight, missed Shiels big time in midfield and the defence was horrific

Vuckic the only player who can actually do anything with the ball

Anything remotely decent that happens for Rangers involves Vuckic

Others however were not impressed, making their feelings clear at the forward still having much to work on in his game:
Vuckic can bore off back to Newcastle anaw

Vuckic shut his eyes there! Can we give him back to Newcastle tonight?

Just me that doesn't really rate Vuckic?

We are getting Ruined down out right. No enough working back from Vuckic, leaving McGregor exposed

Vuckic is completely useless when he isn't camped on the edge of the 18-yard box. QoS doing well to stifle him, tbf.

The loss meant Rangers missed out on a great chance to climb above Hibernian, who are above them on goal difference for the second placed spot which would see them qualify for a promotion/relegation play-off.
The Gers still have a game in hand on Hibs, but they will now also be aware of Queen of the South being just five points behind them and looking like dark horses to pip the two teams to the post.
