Queen of the South youngster Lewis Kidd has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in his side’s victory over Rangers on Thursday.
The Doonhamers got the better of Rangers 3-0 at home in the Scottish Championship to enhance their chances of making the playoffs.
James Fowler’s side took the lead at Palmerston Park in Dumfries through Derek Lyle in the 33rd minute against the run of the play.
Lee Wallace turned the ball into his own net 16 seconds inside the second half, and Gavin Reilly fired in Queens' third on 69 minutes.
The result means that Queens are now fourth in the Scottish Championship table with 53 points from 32 matches, five points behind Rangers, who are third and level on points with third-placed Hibernian.
After the match, Queens youngster Kidd, who joined the club on a permanent deal in the summer of 2014 after leaving Scottish giants Celtic, took to Twitter to revel in the victory.
