How Tottenham Hotspur’s squad could look next season with no new signings

We take a look at what Tottenham Hotspur's squad could look like next season with no new signings.

Tottenham Hotspurs boss Mauricio Pochettino can afford to relax in the summer transfer window as he will have a number of talented youth-team players at his disposal for next season.

Bongani Khumalo and Brad Friedel are Spurs' only first-team players out of contract at the end of the season and with many exciting prospects returning from their loan spells this summer, the Argentinian manager could decide to sidestep the transfer window altogether in favour of promoting the club's young talent.

Who could leave Spurs this summer?

Although there will be a few new faces coming from their loan spells and straight into the first team, there are a number of players who are likely to once again head out on loan or leave the club permanently.

The likes of Tom Carroll Lewis Holtby, Milos Veljkovic and Ryan Fredericks face an uncertain summer, while there is little doubt that Aaron Lennon's Spurs career looks to be coming to an abrupt end.

Emmanuel Adebayor, Younes Kaboul and Paulinho also look set for an uncertain summer and could face the White Hart Lane exit along with Khumalo and Friedel.

Who could be promoted to the first team next season?

Out of the current players out on loan, Alex Pritchard, Dele Alli and DeAndre Yedlin look the most likely for a long-term future at the club.

Although Tom Carroll and Lewis Holtby have impressed out on loan, it seems their time at the club is uncertain and could be decided in the summer once Pochettino gets his players in for pre-season training.

Both players - Carroll and Holtby - will need a big summer if they are to prove they are worthy of a first team slot next season and out-perform the players already situated in the squad.

How the squad could look:

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm.

Defenders:  Jan Vertonghen, Vlad Chiriches, Eric Dier, Federico Fazio, Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Ben Davies and DeAndre Yedlin.

Midfielders: Benjamin Stambouli, Etienne Capoue, Mousa Dembele, Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb, Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela, Andros Townsend, Nacer Chadli, Alex Pritchard and Dele Alli

Strikers: Roberto Soldado and Harry Kane
