Gary Neville thinks signing Gareth Bale and Morgan Schneiderlin this summer would make any current member of the top four title favourites for next season's Premier League, according to his column in the Daily Telegraph.
The pundit feels former Tottenham star Bale, along with Southampton midfielder Schneiderlin, would provide a title-winning combination for whoever could prise them from their current clubs.
Alternatively, Neville thinks Paul Pogba and Mats Hummels - or all four put together - could do.
The mention of Bale and Schneiderlin, though, is most intriguing due to their Premier League connections. Tottenham fans would surely hate to see their former maestro back in England with another club - and would he want to play against Spurs?
The latter, meanwhile, appears happy at Southampton; will he leave the Saints next season?
Neville said: "If any of the top four is able to add Gareth Bale, Morgan Schneiderlin and / or Paul Pogba and Mats Hummels to their squad this summer, they would instantly become front-runners to win the Premier League next year."
Clearly, the Sky Sports pundit has plenty of faith in the duo's abilities. Bale's record at Tottenham, as well as that of current club Real Madrid, proves his world-class talent - although the small matter of the world-record transfer fee spent to bring him to the Bernabeu is sure to prove an obstacle to any potential buyers.
Schneiderlin, too, has been phenomenal for Southampton but proving yourself after leaving the club you flourished at is often a tough ask: just ask Dejan Lovren and Adam Lallana.
