Arsenal fans respond to Robbie Savage comments, debate next season's title chances

Some Arsenal supporters think the big time could be back for the Gunners. Others, however, disagree...

It's that time of the season again! The one where Premier League fans look ahead to next campaign and dream of what could be.

In many cases, there's still plenty to play for this term. That's certainly the scenario facing Arsenal - even if, realistically, the title is far out of reach but the top four is virtually guaranteed.

And, in looking ahead to next season, Arsenal fans have been given a surprising boost from an unlikely source in Robbie Savage. Indeed, the BBC pundit recently suggested the north London side could dominate the Premier League next term along with Chelsea.

That's far from a moderate claim considering the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City will likely strengthen their squads this summer - and also taking into account Arsenal's very poor track record indeed when it comes to challenging at the top of the table.

But Savage is, for now, convinced. Just as many Gunners fans are.

These supporters, though, have stressed the need for specific summer signings if Arsenal are indeed to compete for the title again. Other supporters, however, are less convinced of their chances under Arsene Wenger...

I hope Flamini will go and keep Arteta no one else must leave as we have Beilik the young guy, defensively we have Chambers who is able to go for any position in the back 4 and he also is a defensive midfielder so we are fine.'

'we probably wont do it this year but considering podolski and campbell will leave, we need to look for a top forward instead of having only theo or welbeck, they wont win you a CL and probably not the premier league lets be honest.'

Even as we stand now I am not 100% sure we will hold on to the last game in that position. With Chelsea,Manurd and Everton still to play I don't see Arsenal win 90% against big boys especially Chelsea when Mourinho is in charge.'
