Video: Teddy Sheringham proves he's still got it in West Ham training

The Hammers coach delivered a perfect cross and Diafra Sakho did the rest.

West Ham coach Teddy Sheringham proved class is permanent in first-team training on Thursday afternoon as the former striker delivered a pinpoint cross for Diafra Sakho.

Sakho did the rest, as the above video shows, sending the ball into the heart of the net with an acrobatic finish.

Sheringham's contribution was even more telling. The 49-year-old was a prolific scorer in his playing days for sides such as Manchester United, Tottenham and, of course, West Ham United.

This time he turned provider, however, with an accurate delivery that put things on a plate for the current Hammers forward.

West Ham host Stoke City at 3pm on Saturday afternoon, as Sam Allardyce's men look to change a torrid run of form of late.

The east London club currently sit ninth in the Premier League - level on 42 points with Stoke - and have the chance to close the gap on eighth-placed Swansea City (providing Garry Monk's men don't also win this weekend).

It's a shame West Ham don't still have Sheringham to rely on on the field of play, though, as the coach can clearly still hit a mean pass! Imagine what his finishing is like?
