John Carver has confirmed that Newcastle United's Rolando Aarons and Siem De Jong are both back in training at his press conference today.
Aarons and De Jong have both been long-term absentees for the Magpies, but they have stepped up their recoveries now.
Unfortunately for Newcastle, they will not be back for their match against Liverpool on Monday, but Carver hopes to have the available for selection in the near future.

Newcastle will be a much stronger team when they have Aarons and De Jong back in their line-up and the hope is that will improve their form.
Aarons brings pace and skill to their team, whilst De Jong can add technical ability and stability to their midfield ranks.
That could be crucial as Newcastle's performances under Carver so far have been far short of the quality required at St. James' Park.
The Tynesiders have won just two of the first 13 matches that Carver has been in-charge for, but they will hope that with a fully fit squad results will improve drastically.
