Guedes, 18, is yet to make his first team bow for Benfica this season in the Primeira Liga, instead being used in the cup competitions, and shining for their 'B' team, scoring seven goals and providing 12 assists.
The Portugal under-19 international is an exciting talent and a player the club have high hopes for him as shown by their commitment in offering him a long-term deal.
Benfica are making moves to tie down their best youngsters, with midfielder Bubacar Djalo signing a new deal just last month, a player who The Mirror had linked to Tottenham.
