Mosh along to NetherRealm Studios' and Warner Bros.' latest addition to the Mortal Kombat series with System of a Down in the new launch trailer.

Mortal Kombat X's 'Launch Trailer' has arrived in anticipation of the game's release on current-gen consoles and PC next week.

The new launch trailer uses the same song we heard in Mortal Kombat X's live-action trailer from last week - 'Chop Suey' by System of a Down.

The new trailer offers us a glimpse at what appears to be images of the game's story mode cutscenes, along with plenty of fighting action. Bones crunch, weapons are wielded, and new characters are shown.

Mortal Kombat X launches on 14th April 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are due this summer. Have a look at the trailer below, oh, and as if you needed warning, there's plenty of blood, gore, and bodies being decimated.
