Former Alexis Sanchez team-mate Antonio Di Natale explains what makes the Arsenal star better than Neymar

Alexis' former Udinese strike partner has explained why he thinks the Chilean trumps the Brazilian.

Someone who certainly knows about playing with Alexis Sanchez has explained to the Arsenal website why he thinks the Chilean is a better player than Barcelona superstar Neymar.

The Udinese legend was asked to compare the two in an interview with the Arsenal website today, to which he stated:

“They’re both wonderful players, who play talismanic roles for top club sides. When you’re talking about players at that level, it’s always difficult to say who’s better. If I was a coach, I’d love to have both of them in my team. But if I had to choose one, I’d choose Alexis: because he’s a little more ‘concrete’ than the Brazilian."

The 38-year-old is a club legend at Udinese but most fans of the club remember his partnership with Alexis more fondly than any other. The pair played together for three years and in the 2010-11 season the pair scored a combined tally of 40 goals – providing most of them for each other.

With that in mind perhaps there was a little bit of prejudice in his view, some bias toward the Arsenal forward.

Neymar is a former team-mate of Alexis at Barcelona and the Brazilian has been excellent recently at the Nou Camp.

So many might struggle to differentiate between the two.

But ask any Udinese or Arsenal fan and the answer to the question ‘who is better, Alexis or Neymar?’ should have only one likely answer. Alexis will come out on top more often than not.
