Chelsea media round-up: Blues handed fitness boost over Diego Costa

The forward is currently out of action with an ongoing hamstring problem and the paper states he’s out for the next two weeks.

He has been suffering with the injury for most of the season, with Chelsea being forced to manage it constantly.

The Daily Mirror has reported that Chelsea owned Mohamed Salah is set for an extended stay at Fiorentina.

The winger has been on loan at the Serie A club, who have taken up an option to extend the loan deal, which was included as part of the deal for Juan Cuadrado.

The paper states that he will stay with his loan side until the end of next season.

The Metro has reported that Chelsea are ready to beat Manchester United to the signing of Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels.

The German has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with the Blues one of his reported options according to the paper as well as the Daily Star.

A deal would cost them in the region of £37 million according to the daily newspaper.
