Brazilian youngster Wellington Silva caught up with compatriot Neymar after Almeria's 4-0 defeat at the hands of his opponent.
Neymar was rested for the La Liga game, but Arsenal loanee Wellington was seen clutching his shirt as a memento regardless as they posed together after the game at the Nou Camp.
Wellington did start the game, and gave watching Arsenal fans reason to be excited with a dangerous looking shot in the early stages.
His Almeria side were however overwhelmed by Barcelona, with Lionel Messi, Marc Bartra, and Luis Suarez (2) on the scoresheet.
Wellington was substituted after 55 minutes as Almeria made a tactical switch, having just gone 2-0 down.
The 22-year-old was unable to positively impact the game, but in his defence not many players could have coped with a Barcelona side in such rampant form, pushing hard in the title race.
Playing in a game of that intensity and on such a big stage will have been a beneficial experience for the Brazilian, ahead of his return to Arsenal next season.
Wellington signed for Arsenal in 2011 but has never made a first team appearance, having been loaned out due to work permit issues. He is now eligible to play for the gunners when his loan expires, having qualified for a European passport, The Mirror recently reported.
Arsenal fans were pleased to catch a glimpse of the winger taking on Barcelona, and here is a look at how they reacted to his display...

We signed Wellington Silva for 4.4 M, if we had waited for a few more weeks we would have got a 15 year old Sterling very cheaply.

Wellington Silva is not good enough to play for Arsenal. Looks like its a bad investment.
