Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in signing Andre Ayew, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
Ayew is set to be available on a free transfer in the summer, with his contract at Marseille expiring, and Spurs are said to be keen on recruiting him as they feel he could enhance their squad.
Tottenham are unlikely to find securing his signature straightforward, though, as they are reportedly facing competition from Inter Milan, while Newcastle United are also said to be interested by the Northern Echo.
The attacker offers pace and power and could be a bargain buy for whichever team manages to capture him in the upcoming transfer window.
Impact for Tottenham if they sign Ayew?
Ayew could play right across Tottenham's front four so would be a useful squad player if he were to be brought to White Hart Lane this summer
The Lilywhites are in need of adding to their attacking ranks and Ayew looks a good fit for a side managed by Mauricio Pochettino.
The 25-year-old is a hard-worker, who possesses great athleticism, and he should fit in well with the high-intensity pressing style Spurs operate with.
So far this season Ayew has managed 10 goals in 29 matches in Ligue 1 for Marseille and if he could replicate that scoring record in England, his addition would be a very impressive one.
