Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted understandably angrily to one of their worst performances of the season at Burnley.
After Tottenham's 0-0 draw at Burnley on Sunday afternoon, everything from Twitter to radio phone-ins to the comment pages on HITC Sport were filled with understandably frustrated Spurs fans.
The north London side delivered one of the worst performances of the season in one of the worst overall contests of the season and there seemed to be no will to win.
And perhaps most puzzling to a large number of Tottenham supporters was the role boss Mauricio Pochettino played in the debacle. From his starting line-up to his substitutions, there was just something off about the whole thing. This didn't look like a team aiming for Champions League football.
One Spurs star's exclusion from the side, in particular, is confusing plenty. Indeed, Mousa Dembele may have been off form earlier this campaign - but the current Tottenham team is far from on fire.
Naturally, then, some Spurs supporters in the comments section on HITC's articles have been debating the merits of bringing the Belgian back into the side - and plenty have been criticising Pochettino's overall team selection. In response to an article about Paulinho's performance, as well as our player ratings, several readers had plenty to say...

Flipper (in response to Nila Griva) wrote: 'Best football we've played all season was with Dembele in behind the striker using his ability to hold the ball up allowing the more creative players out wide to be more involved and to play more of our football in the right area of the pitch, so yeah, like you I just don't understand the logic and can only assume Dembele has somehow managed to royally piss off Poch.'

But Poch can not see that. Townsend does well for England and is on a high, but this guy decides to play him for seven minutes. Lennon is leading the Everton counterattacks and scoring goals for Everton: but Poch prefers Chadli and Lamela. I will not blame Levy if he pulls a plug on his one. I no longer trust this guy. His treatment of Lennon leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. A good coach will work with even the wildest of the wild such as Cantona. This one seems to prefe loyalty over skill. I think that is probably the reason he got the boot at Espanyol.'

They never looked like wanting to score and win such an important game. I also blame Pochettino for not handling the selection and substitution properly. He has never been good at that as a Manager. Since we needed to score, he should have brought in an additional striker during the latter part of the game. He should have replaced those useless players such as Paulinho. By the way, I have never been a fan of that player. I have always wondered why he was in that squad..'
