Torino fans are desperate for centre back Kamil Glik to stay with the club.

Polish international defender Kamil Glik may not be a household name to many fans in England, but Torino fans certainly love him.

The 27-year-old centre back has Real Madrid C, Piast Gliwice, Palermo and Bari, but has surely never been revered quite like he is by Torino fans.

The giant centre back, who has 29 caps for Poland, has been a key part of Giampiero Ventura's Torino side since his arrival in 2011 - but now his performances have seemingly attracted interest.

The Sun recently reported that Tottenham Hotspur were interested in signing Glik this summer, with Mauricio Pochettino apparently keen to improve his defence.

With Younes Kaboul likely to leave this summer, Glik could be on the radar as a possible replacement and potential partner for Jan Vertonghen in defence.

However, fans of La Granata over in Turin have become aware of the speculation - and have now started an incredible Twitter campaign in a bid to keep him at the club.

The hashtag #GlikNonSiTocca - loosely translated as 'Hands Off Glik' has seen hundreds of Torino fans get involved throughout the day, all posting their messages to make Glik stay with Torino rather than move to Tottenham.

It remains to be seen whether this remarkable campaign will reap any rewards, but you can't fault Torino fans for effort as they try to secure Glik's future in Turin.
