Celtic can continue their Scottish Premiership domination when Partick Thistle come to Celtic Park.

Game to be played on Wednesday 8th April 2015 at 19:45. Venue: Celtic Park, Glasgow.

Odds: Celtic 1/6, draw 6/1, Partick Thistle 16/1

Celtic look to make it five straight wins in all competitions when they welcome Partick Thistle to Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership.

Ronny Deila’s men saw off basement boys St Mirren on Friday to widen the gap on Aberdeen to seven points, with a game in hand on the second-placed side, who drew 0-0 against Partick in their last match.

The Hoops could face some resistance from the Jags who have recorded three wins in their last five games after enduring a six-game winless run through January and February.

The visitors haven’t tasted victory against their hosts in the last 18 meetings between the sides and last beat them in May 1995 in a Scottish Premier League match, which was also the last time they won at Celtic Park, losing seven and drawing one of their last eight visits.

This could be the toughest fixture Deila’s men have faced in some time after the string of games against Dundee United turning into a formality after the first game, and Friday’s game against struggling St Mirren less than a test for the Bhoys.

Despite having some easier matches, Celtic are on a run of form that has seen them go unbeaten in five games, scoring at least two goals in each of their last four matches.

Deila has a full squad to pick from and has plenty of striking options with John Guidetti, Leigh Griffiths and Anthony Stokes all available with midfield duo Nir Biton and Gary Mackay-Steven starting on the bench in Friday’s win.

Alan Archibald may be without Kris Doolan who suffered a hamstring injury in the draw against Aberdeen, with his replacement on the day, Lyle Taylor, the likely candidate to replace him.

Predicted Celtic line-up:

Gordon, Matthews, van Dijk, Denayer, Izaguirre, Brown, Armstrong, Johnasen, Commons, Forrest, Guidetti

Predicted Partick Thistle line-up:

Fox, Donnell, Booth, Balatoni, Frans, Bannigan, Stevenson, Lawless, Osman, Craigen, Taylor
