Arsenal legend Ian Wright has taken to social networking site Twitter to hail Watford striker Troy Deeney for his consistency.
Deeney became the first Watford player to score 20 goals in three successive seasons on Monday, when he was on target against Middlesbrough at Vicarage Road.
The 26-year-old opened the scoring in the 37th minute of the Championship encounter, finishing from a narrow angle after controlling Adlene Guedioura's cross from deep.
Odion Ighalo made it 2-0 to Watford with a left-footed drive from 18 yards in the 65th minute, as the Hornets maintained their challenge for automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Former Arsenal striker Wright was following the match, and he was impressed with Deeney’s heroics for Watford and backed him to lead his team back to the top flight of English football.
Former Walsall striker Deeney was delighted to get the message from Wright and gave a polite reply.
Watford are currently third in the Championship table with 76 points from 41 matches, level on points with Norwich City but behind on goal difference.
Slavisa Jokanovic’s side are also just a point behind leaders Bournemouth, and there is every possibility that they could win the Championship title this season.
