Birmingham City boss Gary Rowett has told the club's official website that on-loan midfielder Robert Tesche has 'great quality'.
After two goals in 25 games for Forest, the German was loaned out by new manager Dougie Freedman last month, joining Championship rivals Birmingham City until the end of the season
It's a great chance for Tesche to prove his worth and impress Freedman, and he's certainly making an impression at St. Andrews after scoring against Rotherham United on Friday afternoon.
Tesche's opening goal set Birmingham on their way to a 2-1 win, and Blues manager Rowett was unsurprisingly full of praise for Tesche during an interview with the club's official website.
"When we sit him, he always has that quality to go and join in the play," said Rowett. "We want one of those sitters to bridge that gap between that position and our number ten. Robert does that really, really well."
"He has got great composure, great ability around the edge of the box. He can play the number ten role as well. But at the moment we like him as one of that two," he added.
Tesche may be playing for his Forest future during this loan spell having failed to make any appearances under Freedman during his time at the City Ground.
After another impressive display for Birmingham, Rowett may be keen to keep Tesche permanently - and if Freedman doesn't have a change of heart, there's a strong possibility of that happening.
