West Ham fans slam Kevin Nolan on Twitter after Leicester City performance

Kevin Nolan

The club's supporters were not pleased with the performance of the midfielder.

West Ham United lost to relegation scrapping Leicester City yesterday at the King Power Stadium. Goals from Esteban Cambiasso and Andy King did the business for The Foxes, despite a strike from Cheikhou Kouyate for The Hammers.

It was a performance from which West Ham did deserve more. They had several chances to score again throughout the game, including a glorious chance for Kevin Nolan.

The club captain received the ball on a silver platter from the right, but guided his header wide of the post. Considering this is exactly the sort of chance he is in the team to convert, West Ham fans were not pleased with his place in the starting XI.

They have been calling for him to be replaced for some time now, but that has not happened. Many believe that is because of his long-standing relationship with Sam Allardyce.

The West Ham boss managed him at Bolton Wanderers and is a massive fan of his talents, but judging by the reaction his performance received from West Ham fans on Twitter yesterday - the Hammers faithful are beginning to doubt just what that talent actually is.

Here is some of the best reaction on Twitter to his performance yesterday...
