Queens Park Rangers hammered West Bromwich Albion 4-1 at The Hawthorns in the Premier League on Saturday.

Queens Park Rangers returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday, when they got the better of West Bromwich Albion 4-1 away from home.

Eduardo Vargas put QPR in the lead at The Hawthorns after just 15 minutes, Charlie Austin doubled the advantage in the 37th minute, and Bobby Zamora made it 3-0 just before the half-time interval.

Although Victor Anichebe pulled one back for the Baggies on 58 minutes, Joey Barton secured the points for the London outfit in injury time following the dismissal of Youssouf Mulumbu.

Chris Ramsey’s side are now third from bottom in the Premier League table with 25 points from 31 matches, just a point behind 17th-placed Sunderland, who take on Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Sunday.

Following the win, Matty Phillips, Sandro, Roberto Green, Charlie Austin, Joey Barton, Michael Doughty and Rio Ferdinand took to social networking site Twitter to revel in the success.
