Manchester United tightened their grip on a Champions League place after a 3-1 win over Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
Ander Herrera opened the scoring for United on the stroke of half time, before Wayne Rooney added a superb second after the break.
Christian Benteke pulled one back for Aston Villa, before Spanish midfielder Herrera added a late third to complete an impressive brace.
The result means United lie just eight points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea, and one point ahead of rivals Manchester City.
The run of great form has coincided with Ander Herrera being given an extended run in the first team, with the summer signing from Athletic Bilbao really proving his quality.
Now with seven goals to his name this season, the 25-year-old is beginning to justify his lofty price tag, and fans were full of praise for him after the victory over Villa.
Supporters took to Twitter after the game to hail Herrera, with many branding him 'quality' - and some even comparing him to United legend Paul Scholes.

I for one didn't think Herrera was a starter for us when we signed him. Since the turn of the year he has been absolutely top. #mufc— Jay (@Shiland) April 4, 2015
Just great to finally have that complete midfielder at the club again. Herrera scores goals, he tackles, he can pass, he's aggressive. #mufc— Thorbjørn Harila (@tobbh) April 5, 2015

Herrera the answer to our problems? Scholes proved you don't need to be a 6ft monster to put yourself about and also control the game #MUFC— James Winterbottom (@Jamesicey) April 4, 2015
