Leeds United are likely to be busy once again in the summer transfer market. However, like it or not, they will be mainly raiding the Italian market once again.
While the likelihood is that most of the names brought in will not be household Italian players.
But who could they bring in from Italian football, on the cheap.
Here are five options.
Mounir El Hamdaoui - Fiorentina
A former Tottenham youngster who has scored goals for fun in Dutch football. He has been out of favour in Italy for some time and at the age of 30 he might be considering a return to England, where he also had a spell on loan at Derby County.
Urby Emanuelson - Atalanta
The former Fulham man signed for AS Roma at the start of the season. But after just six months he signed a short-term deal with Atalanta. He looks likely to remain with the club but, being a wide option that Leeds crave the Dutchman should be on the radar.
Francesco Pisano - Cagliari
The one club man has spent his entire career with Massimo Cellino's former team. But his deal expires in the summer and the Leeds owner may consider convincing him to make a move to England.
McDonald Mariga - Parma
He is out of contract regardless this summer and the Kenya is unlikely to stay with the skint Parma.
The older brother of Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama he could do what Granddi Ngoyi was supposed to do at the club.
Simone Pepe - Juventus
An Italian international wide man who has been an outcast at Juventus for some time.
His wages would be a stumbling block, but his signature would be a massive coup for Leeds.
