Derby County failed to return to winning ways in the Championship on Friday evening, when they played out a 2-2 draw with Watford at home.
The Rams headed into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home and without a win in the league since February 24.
Watford took the lead at the iPro Stadium midway through the first half when Matej Vydra found the target.
However, the Hornets were reduced to 10 men following the dismissal of Marco Motti in first-half stoppage time.
Darren Bent successfully converted the resulting penalty, and Tom Ince made it 2-1 to Derby in the 57th minute.
Watford, though, picked up a point from the encounter, as Odion Ighalo struck an equaliser in the 75th minute.
The draw means that Derby are currently sixth in the Championship table with 68 points from 40 matches, seven points behind leaders Middlesbrough.
Following the draw with Watford at home, Derby fans took to social networking site Twitter to discuss the team’s chances of gaining promotion to the Premier League.

Aside from the Brentford fixture our remaining games should give us chance of a solid playoff place, if we stop gifting teams points! #dcfc— Andy Cotters (@AndyCotters) April 3, 2015

The most tense I've felt watching a football match since the play off final. Should get used to it in time for this year's play offs. #dcfc— Mitch Gregson (@Mitchgregson93) April 3, 2015
Don't go up making a horror defensive mistake every single game. Always our weakness. Fingers crossed for playoff lottery #dcfc— Rob Helliwell (@robhelliwell25) April 3, 2015
