Tony Fernandes reacts on Twitter to Queens Park Rangers’ win against West Bromwich Albion

Queens Park Rangers got the better of West Bromwich Albion 4-1 away from home in the Premier League today.

Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in his side’s victory over West Bromwich Albion away from home earlier today.

Rangers returned to winning ways in the Premier League in emphatic style, getting the better of the Baggies 4-1 at The Hawthorns.

Eduardo Vargas put the London outfit in the lead after just 15 minutes, Charlie Austin doubled the advantage in the 37th minute, and Bobby Zamora made it 3-0 just before the half-time interval.

Although Victor Anichebe pulled one back for West Brom on 58 minutes, Joey Barton ascertained the points for QPR in injury time following the sending-off of Youssouf Mulumbu.

Following the victory, Fernandes posted the following message on Twitter.

The win against West Brom at The Hawthorns was QPR’s second victory away from home all season.

Chris Ramsey’s side are now third from bottom in the Premier League table with 25 points from 31 matches, just a point behind 17th-placed Sunderland, who face Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Sunday.
