The Scotland international is in great form at the Madejski Stadium.
Nottingham Forest's Scotland international attacker Jamie Mackie is currently on loan at Championship rivals Reading and he has been in fantastic form. His recent performances saw him pick up a double accolade for the Royals, winning both the goal of the month and player of the month awards for February at the Berkshire club.
Mackie, who joined Forest from QPR in 2013, is currently on a season-long loan deal agreed in August, after Stuart Pearce decided he was not in his plans for the upcoming season.
Now he is loving his football at Reading and has helped The Royals to an FA Cup semi-final, after he starred in their quarter-final replay against Bradford City.
His form in March has been so impressive that, for the second month in a row, Mackie has been named the Reading player of the month - as confirmed on the club's official Twitter account earlier today.

So what should Forest do?
The vast majority of Nottingham Forest fans would probably not mind giving him another go at the club. His form demands they consider it.
If all goes to plan, Mackie's return could be like a new signing for the Reds this summer.
