Michael Owen predicts Leicester City v West Ham United

Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen looks ahead to Saturday’s Premier League clash between Leicester City and West Ham United.

Michael Owen has predicted in his Betvictor.com column that Saturday’s Premier League clash between Leicester City and West Ham United will end in a draw.

The former Manchester United and Liverpool striker believes that the game at the King Power Stadium will end 1-1.

The Hammers have a good recent record (unbeaten in their last seven) against Leicester who are fighting for their PL lives,” the 35-year-old wrote on Betvictor.com.

“Nigel Pearson’s side have gone over five hours since they scored in front of their home supporters and desperately need a win, but I think they will have to settle for a point which is unlikely to be enough in their battle to maintain their PL status.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Game to finish 1-1 at 6/1”

Could Michael Owen’s prediction come true?

Leicester are struggling for survival in the Premier League, and one can rest assured that they will be determined to pick up all three points against West Ham at home.

For the Foxes to maintain their chances to remain in the English top flight next season, they need to collect as many points as they can from their home matches.

However, it will not be easy to win on Saturday, as West Ham are a better side who will be determined to build on their victory over Sunderland before the two-week international break.

Sam Allardyce’s side are unlikely to finish in a European spot this campaign, but they will be keen on ending the season on a high.

One should not be surprised if West Ham win against Leicester on Saturday.
