The Argentine attacker has offers from English clubs, according to his representative.
Liverpool were heavily linked with a move for Argentine winger Juan Iturbe last year, with Metro claiming in March 2014 that the Reds had opened negotiations with the star, but the flying attacker ended up signing for Roma from Porto.
However, with injury concerns limiting his game time this season at the Stadio Olimpico, the South American could well be on the move this summer if his agent’s comments are anything to go by.
Gustavo Mascardi has claimed that the Roma man has offers on the table from Premier League clubs, with potential for a summer move.
"Iturbe is a champion who has had a difficult season due to injury,” the agent told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"It was not well understood by the technical staff and that did not give him confidence.
“Will he leave? There are very good proposals from England for him. We'll see what Iturbe and Roma decide.”
Liverpool have a plethora of attacking midfielders at their disposal currently, but Raheem Sterling’s comments to the BBC earlier this week have cast further doubts over the winger’s future at Anfield.
Iturbe fits into the profile of a Brendan Rodgers signing, with his pace, technical ability and eye for goal making him an exciting possible summer addition at the Merseyside club.
The 21-year-old has only started 12 Serie A games this season for the Giallorossi, scoring one goal and failing to live up to the high standards he set last term while on loan at Hellas Verona.
