The recent Tottenham Hotspur addition played his part in MK Dons' 3-0 win on Saturday.
Recent Tottenham Hotspur signing Dele Alli has had to wait patiently for his return to action, after an injury ruled him out for eight consecutive matches for League One side MK Dons.
The 18-year-old agreed to move to White Hart Lane for £5million in January, but part of the deal saw him remain on loan with the Dons until the end of the current campaign.
In a campaign where Alli had already scored 14 goals and provided five assists, his importance to the Dons is clear for all to see, and it is also a huge reason why Tottenham agreed to spend big on a teenager with no top-flight experience to date.
Alli was back in action for his loan club this weekend and he enjoyed a winning return, combining with Samir Carruthers to set up Will Grigg for the second goal in a 3-0 victory against Swindon Town.
After the match he took to Twitter to write a brief, but telling message to his followers.
“Great win!” he wrote, and with more like that he could help fire MK Dons into the Championship, before turning his attention to the next stage of his career at Tottenham.
