Confirmed: Everton v Southampton lineups

Here is how Everton and Southampton will line up for today's Premier League game at Goodison Park.

Everton appear to be safe from relegation despite something of a scare this season, but can put any lingering fears to bed this afternoon with a win over Southampton.

Roberto Martinez has endured a difficult second season in charge of the Toffees, but two successive wins appear to have taken them clear of danger.

Today, Ross Barkley starts for Everton whilst Arouna Kone leads the line up front, with Romelu Lukaku out injured.

Meanwhile, Southampton have enjoyed a superb season under Ronald Koeman, and sit just six points off a top four place - which few would have predicted in pre-season.

Koeman's men have won two and drawn one of the last three games, but he goes into today's game without goalkeeper Fraser Forster who is out with a long-term injury, meaning 38-year-old Kelvin Davis starts in goal.

Graziano Pelle has been out of form in the league but will spearhead the Saints attack after scoring for Italy against England on Tuesday.
