Arsenal welcome Liverpool the Emirates Stadium this weekend as the Premier League returns with a bang following the international break.
Arsenal are currently third in the table but a win in the lunch-time kick-off will take them above second-placed Manchester City, at least temporarily.
As for Liverpool, they will be looking to get back to winning ways after their disappointing defeat to Manchester United last time out.
Arsenal have a fine recent record against Liverpool, with the Gunners losing only one of their last seven league and cup games against them.
And with the Reds winning just one of their last eighteen matches away to the Gunners today could be another tough ask for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
That said, the United match aside, Liverpool have been brilliant in the league since the turn of the year and if they can stabilise their defence there is every chance they could take three points off Arsenal this afternoon.
