Predicting Rangers’ next six Scottish Championship games

We look ahead to RangersScottish Championship matches against Hearts, Queen of the South, Raith Rovers, Livingston, Dumbarton and Falkirk.

Rangers v Hearts

Playing at home will give Rangers an advantage against Hearts, but winning the Scottish Championship clash at Ibrox will not be easy.

Although Hearts have already won the Championship title, they will not make it easy for the Glasgow giants.

Prediction: 1-1

Queens of the South v Rangers

Winning against Queens of the South away from home will not be easy, but the Gers should still have enough to pick up all three points at Palmerston Park in Dumfries.

Prediction: 0-2

Rangers v Raith Rovers

Winning home matches is important for Rangers, and one suspects that manager Stuart McCall will drill this into his players.

Raith Rovers will pose a challenge for the hosts, but McCall’s team should still be able to register a win.

Prediction: 2-1

Livingston v Rangers

Livingston are currently at the bottom of the Scottish Championship table, and the Gers should have no problem whatsoever of winning this encounter.

Prediction: 0-3

Dumbarton v Rangers

Another game that Rangers should pick up all three points from, but they are likely to face a strong challenge from Dumbarton and may have to settle for a draw.

Prediction: 2-2

Rangers v Falkirk

This promises to be a very competitive encounter and will be a tight affair, but given that Rangers are at home, they should just about edge it.

Prediction: 2-1
