West Ham have had some great moments this season - here are just a few of them.
After a strong start to the season, West Ham United's campaign is petering out as the end of the season draws ever closer.
Sam Allardyce entered the campaign under huge pressure after a 13th place finish, and the Hammers splashed the cash with Aaron Cresswell, Carl Jenkinson, Alex Song, Cheikhou Kouyate, Diafra Sakho, Enner Valencia and Mauro Zarate all arriving at Upton Park.
The first half of the season saw West Ham firing on all cylinders, pushing for a European place as Allardyce got fans back on his side.
Yet since the turn of the year, West Ham have won just twice, once again putting Allardyce's position under threat ahead of the summer transfer window.
As the season drifts towards its end, here are some of the best moments of West Ham's season so far in pictures...
20th September 2014, West Ham 3-1 Liverpool: The Hammers displayed the first real signs of a strong season in September, dismantling Liverpool at Upton Park. Winston Reid and Diafra Sakho struck in the first seven minutes to give West Ham an early 2-0 lead, and whilst Raheem Sterling pulled a goal back for the Reds, Morgan Amalfitano wrapped up a memorable win in the dying seconds.
25th October 2014, West Ham 2-1 Manchester City: We again saw what West Ham could do against the top teams as they earned an impressive win over last season's title winners Manchester City. Amalfitano was again on the scoresheet after great work from Enner Valencia, and Sakho made it two from an Aaron Cresswell cross. David Silva pulled one back for City, but West Ham were resilient and managed to hang on for an excellent victory.
7th December 2014, West Ham 3-1 Swansea: Allardyce's men were on the fringes of the Champions League places after a superb 3-1 victory over Swansea at Upton Park. Wilfried Bony gave the Swans the lead, but Andy Carroll then took over the game, scoring two headers before setting up Sakho for a late third. This win gave West Ham fans hope that they could mount a real charge for European football.
13th January 2015, West Ham 2-2 Everton: After a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup, West Ham had to face a replay against Everton at Upton Park, but it turned in to a memorable night. Enner Valencia's opener was cancelled out by a goal from Kevin Mirallas, before Romelu Lukaku put Everton in front in extra time. Carlton Cole grabbed a late equaliser, meaning the game went to penalties - and in an epic shoot-out, goalkeeper Adrian stepped up to send West Ham through, winning 9-8 on penalties.
21st March 2015, West Ham 1-0 Sunderland: After a torrid run of 12 games without a win, West Ham finally ended the barren run with three points against Sunderland last month. It was a turgid affair, but Diafra Sakho struck in the dying seconds to hand Allardyce a much-needed three points - and send Hammers fans home happy for the first time in a while.
