Leeds United bosses past and present were spotted at Nottingham Forest's ground.

Current Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn has been spotted catching up with former Whites head coach Brian McDermott.

Geoff Peters of Talksport snapped the duo deep in conversation at half-time during Nottingham Forest's City Ground on Friday afternoon for the Championship game with Wolves.

Redfearn was working as head of academy at the club last season when McDermott was manager.

The development comes just 24 hours after Leeds United surprisingly decided to suspend Redfearn's assistant coach Steve Thompson, a decision made by sporting director Nicola Salerno, the club announced on their website.

The BBC even reported that Redfearn was considering his position as boss in light of the decision.

Brian McDermott is a man who has experience of bizarre goings on at Leeds since Massimo Cellino took over. He was fired and then re-hired last season, before leaving the role at the end of the season.

He told SkySports television last year that he did not like the aspect of signing players being taken away from him, a role currently filled by Salerno. McDermott is presently working as a scout for Arsenal.
