Henderson moved to Norwegian giants Rosenborg on loan from Scottish Premiership powerhouse Celtic last month.
The 18-year-old central midfielder will remain with Kare Ingebrigtsen’s side until the end of the season and will hope to get valuable first-team experience.
Griffiths has wished his Celtic teammate well on his adventure in Norway via Twitter.
Good luck to my good friend @LH_53 on his adventure in Norway. Go do you're thing wee man and see you soon— leigh griffiths (@Leighgriff09) April 3, 2015
Henderson is a talented player who is going to grow and develop, and playing regular football is going to help him do that.
The teenager is a talented midfielder, but his chances of playing regularly for Celtic for the rest of the season were slim.
Playing out on loan at one of Norway’s top clubs will see Henderson get used to the pressure of winning games, and he will certainly return to Celtic as a better and more mature player.
