Jak Alnwick has returned to Newcastle United for a scan on a wrist sprain, according to West Yorkshire Sport.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper was sent out on loan to League One outfit Bradford City last month until the end of the season.
It has now been reported that the English youngster has suffered an injury and has returned to Newcastle.

It is not yet clear the extent of the injury suffered by Alnwick or if he will return to Bradford.
Bradford are currently 10th in the League One table with 54 points from 38 matches, just three points behind sixth-placed Chesterfield.
Meanwhile, Newcastle find themselves 12th in the Premier League table at the moment with 35 points from 30 games, and look set to finish the season in mid-table.
Alnwick made six appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle this season before his loan move to Bradford.
The youngster made on average 0.83 saves per game and 0.38 saves per goal. Alnwick’s current contract with Newcastle runs out at the end of the season.
