Aston Villa’s chances of winning against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday have been boosted by the return to training of four key players.
Ron Vlaar, Philippe Senderos, Tom Cleverley and Joe Cole all trained today with the rest of the Villa squad, and three of them are set to feature against the Red Devils (Cleverley is ineligible as he is on loan from United).
The quartet trained at Bodymoor Heath and are medically fit to play against United, although manager Tim Sherwood is likely to require more assessment before deciding whether they are match-fit or not.

Villa are currently 16th in the Premier League table with 28 points from 30 matches, just three points above the relegation zone.
Winning against United at Old Trafford is going to be far from easy, but the return to fitness of the four aforementioned key players is certainly a positive.
The Villa players have had their confidence increased by Sherwood and the team’s recent run of positive results, which means that they will put up a fight against Louis van Gaal’s men.
