Celtic U-20s

The former Liverpool youngster and current Hearts star is wanted by Celtic.

Danny Wilson, who Liverpool signed at great cost in 2010 from Rangers, never cut it at Anfield and was released in 2013.

He joined Hearts and at 23-years-old is now the club's captain and one of the outstanding performers in the league - so he has certainly found his feet since his Liverpool adventure.

Now his form for the Scottish Championship side, who were recently crowned champions of the league, has seen Celtic register an interest in his services.

Celtic manager Ronny Deila told Sky Sports yesterday that he is interested in signing the Hearts defender this summer.

"That is one of many names we are talking about but there is nothing serious in that. But he's a good player."

Of course his arrival would not go down well with many a Celtic fan, who would simply not be able to forgive his Rangers past.

He played for the Old Firm rivals as a youngster. He joined the club in 2006 and remained there until 2010. He made his debut in 2009 and went on to play 26 games for the club - which is what caught the attention of Liverpool's wandering eye.

Of course his past with Rangers can forever be documented in images. Here is a selection of pictures showing Wilson in action for Rangers ... against Celtic.
