According to The Scotsman, Celtic are interested in signing Iranian winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh from Dutch side NEC Nijmegen this summer.
The Bhoys may be moving ever closer to a historic treble in Ronny Deila's first season in charge, but that doesn't appear to be stopping the Norwegian from looking for new signings ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Scotsman reported earlier this week that Celtic are looking to sign NEC Nijmegen winger Jahanbakhsh at the end of the season.
The 21-year-old may not be a household name to many in Scotland, but he's highly rated in Iran and the Netherlands, impressing with his pace, dribbling ability and eye for goal.
NEC will return to the Eredivisie next season, but that may not be enough to keep Jahanbakhsh at the club if Celtic come calling with Champions League football on the table.
Jahanbakhsh caught the eye at last summer's World Cup, playing for Iran in a tough group alongside Argentina, Bosnia and Nigeria - a group which Iran failed to qualify from.
Whilst playing out in Brazil, Jahanbakhsh came up against Efe Ambrose in that Nigeria game, as the picture above shows.
Ambrose would be one of his Celtic team-mates should he make the move to Glasgow this summer, and Ambrose may be glad that he wouldn't have to chase him around again having been put up against the nippy winger once already.
