In an extremely unbalanced selection, Belgium wonderkid Januzaj has picked his ultimate five-a-side team of Manchester United players.
However, the youngster’s selection has failed to include either a defender, or even more surprisingly - a goalkeeper.
Clearly Januzaj’s memories of five-a-side come from his youth, when one player in the team would be rush-keeper.
But even then it is hard to see who would play that role. Everyone selected in the team is fairly small, and it is hard to see the ultra-attacking Juan Mata and Januzaj himself - selected in the deeper roles - dropping back further to cover the net.
Maybe he has selected a team with such good technical ability that they would never give the ball to the opposition.
Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Angel Di Maria would be forced to incessantly press from the front to ensure that the ball never goes beyond them into the defensive positions, and Januzaj would have to ensure his players have great fitness levels to fulfil an even more intense gegenpressing style.
Going by this selection, maybe it is good that Januzaj is still in the early stages of his playing career, as a move into management may be a step too far for the youngster.
