Forest v Wolves predicted lineups and match preview

Nottingham Forest will be looking to put a dent in Wolverhampton Wanderers' play-off aspirations, while keeping their own top-six hopes alive.

To be played on Friday 3rd April 2015 at 15:00. Venue: City Ground, Nottingham

Odds: Forest 13/10, Draw 23/10, Wolves 21/10

Nottingham Forest may require snookers to position themselves in the end-of-season promotion picture, but they are refusing to give up the chase.

Their next outing pitches them into combat with the side directly above them in the Championship standings, with Wolverhampton Wanderers visiting the City Ground on Good Friday.

Dougie Freedman will be hoping for Easter treats aplenty on home soil, with the Reds having had a long time to stew on defeat at Norwich City in their last outing.

The international break should have helped to sharpen the focus, though, while promising Arsenal forward Chuba Akpom has been added to the Reds’ ranks on a short-term loan deal.

He will be expected to see some action against Wolves, with injury struggles depleting Forest’s attacking options.

Kenny Jackett has no such problems in that area of the field, with another product of the famed Emirates Stadium academy system flourishing at Molineux.

Benik Afobe could be the man to fire Wolves to the Premier League, with the 22-year-old having made an impressive start to life in the second tier following a January transfer.

He is surrounded by a number of experienced heads, along with exciting winger Bakary Sako, and there is every chance that they will have acquired a ticket for the play-off lottery come the end of the season.

Wolves sit just two points adrift of the top-six at present, are unbeaten in their last four and will be looking to make it three straight wins and as many successive clean sheets when they travel to the banks of the River Trent.
