Speculation continues over whether Allardyce will be kept on at the club beyond this season and Cole has given his assessment on how he feels Allardyce will deal with the situation.
“Sam’s a professional, he gets on with his job, he’s not going to talk about it too much. Whatever comes his way he’ll have a look at it and if it doesn’t work out, it doesn’t work out. I’m sure he’ll get a great job,” said Cole.
Allardyce has always maintained that he’ll adopt a laid back approach in relation to his future, with the matter in West Ham’s hands.
He’s always said that he’ll never press the matter and he seems confident that regardless of what happens, everything will work out for the best.
He is a professional as Cole suggests and seems determined to keep the focus on the team and finishing the season in the right way.
Strong performances and a place in the top eight by the end of the season is what the Hammers will be hoping for and should they achieve it, it will work in Allardyce’s favour in relation to his future.
Should Allardyce get an offer from the Hammers, regardless of how good or poor it is, he won’t air his dirty laundry in public.
He’s an experienced boss who will more than likely have a job in some capacity at the start of next season and hopefully, that will still be at West Ham.
