Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen was reluctant to give much away when asked about his personal target for the season by the club's official website.
Eriksen has enjoyed a memorable campaign so far, and currently has 11 goals to his name, but the Dane was not prepared to divulge what his ultimate aim is.
Instead, he admitted that while he does have an individual goal for the season, he is simply hoping to help the team be the best it can be.
“I have a personal goals target for the season but it’s in my head and that’s where it’s staying," he said.
“Really I just want to help the team and, as we’ve always said, it doesn’t matter who scores the goals – as long as the ball ends up in the net, we’re happy!”
Eriksen cannot have too far to go to reach his target, as his totals for goals and assists are impressive as it stands.
Although Harry Kane has stolen most of the headlines for Spurs this season, Eriksen's role in the team cannot be understated and his creativity is just as important as the 21-year-old frontman's clinical finishing.
The task for Eriksen will now be to help Spurs finish the campaign strongly, with Pochettino's team still aiming for a top-four place.
Although the Lilywhites are currently six points adrift of the Champions League qualification spots, they are still in with a chance and if Eriksen is at his best he should be able to help Spurs meet their collective target at the start of the season, as well as hitting his own personal goal.
