The British former world F1 champion believes McLaren-Honda are making good progress.

As you will be well aware today is April 1st, April Fool's Day. However, this is surprisingly not the reason why Formula 1 driver Jenson Button has Tweeted a picture of two mountain goats this morning.

The former world Formula 1 champion has a tumultuous summer. His future with McLaren looked ropey as they lured Fernando Alonso to be their lead driver this term. In the end Button retained a ride ahead of Kevin Magnussen.

This season has not been great for his constructors.

There was the testing crash from Alonso which left him hospitalised and out of the opening race in Australia. Add to that the confusion over what caused the crash, claim and counter-claim, and the obvious needle present between driver and team - the season started under a cloud.

That has not yet been lifted. Two DNF, one DNS and an 11th place combined for Alonso-Button sees McLaren-Honda currently on 0 points, one of three teams to hold that ignominy after two races along with Lotus and Marussia.

But Button is taking it in good spirits, hence his mountain goats. He posted this Tweet earlier today highlighting the fact he remained positive about the season ahead.

He will now be hoping both he and Alonso get their cars to the finish line at least in China.
